Director of Accounting

Job Description The Director of Accounting will support a hospital by overseeing the accounting function and driving operational excellence across financial processes. This role is responsible for managing the monthly close process, ensuring journal entries are completed accurately and on time, and presenting financial results to senior leadership. This individual will lead a team of supervisors and their respective teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and ongoing development to build a strong, high-performing organization. Success in this role requires a solution‑oriented mindset and the ability to continuously evaluate and improve existing processes to create efficiencies and scalability. The Director of Accounting will play a key role in identifying gaps, streamlining workflows, and enhancing the overall close process while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
