Director of Accounting

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Director to lead client accounting engagements, oversee a team of accounting professionals, and provide strategic financial guidance to a diverse portfolio of clients. This role combines technical accounting expertise, leadership, and client advisory services. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple client accounting engagements from month-end close through financial reporting. Review financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting work for GAAP compliance. Provide Controller/CFO-level advisory services, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and process improvements. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and external auditors. Research technical accounting issues and ensure timely, accurate client deliverables. Identify opportunities to improve processes and expand client relationships. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or client accounting services. Leadership experience managing accounting teams. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls. Experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Microsoft Dynamics. Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
