Overview Digital Lab Associate Director, Banner Ad Team Lead is part of the Digital Lab Channel Platforms & Content Optimization team and will be responsible for onboarding, training, and leading a team of banner specialists who create and route banners for Media campaign placement for HCP and Consumer use. For more information about AbbVie, please visit us at Responsibilities Onboard, train and lead a high-performing team of banner specialists responsible for iterative banner creation, management and oversight; confirm requirements with brand marketing; create, route through the material review process for approval; share project plans and status reports; conduct status meetings; and communicate with all stakeholders to ensure on-time, flawless execution. Support needs and delivery plans with team members to drive effective end-to-end planning and flawless banner execution. Manage, coach, and develop the team to learn the business for their therapeutic areas/brands; work with multiple departments and agencies to keep projects on time and meet all requirements; proactively manage workload and identify optimization opportunities. Develop and maintain project documents, timelines, proofing checklists, and status reports; track all work-in-progress, identify risks, and mitigate issues. Partner with cross-functional and agency teams to capture requirements, gain approvals, document metadata, and verify data elements for banner execution; document change requests and communicate timeline implications; pursue standardization, automation, and process improvements. Prioritize workload across team members, support multiple brands, and manage client expectations while delivering exemplary customer service. Act as the business owner of the commercial enterprise banner creation tool, a strategic capability supporting over 30 brands/indications. Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships with internal/external leaders to define, execute, and optimize banner creation and processes. Provide strategic guidance for the technical implementation and roadmap of the banner creation tool to IT support teams; manage budget and tool licenses for enterprise support. Create, own, and maintain the enterprise banner product playbook, ensuring teams follow the playbook to reduce timelines and handoffs and increase speed to market. Ensure high-quality, on-time, and error-free implementation, testing, and QA of banners; apply standard quality control throughout the setup process. Oversee issue management from identification to resolution and implement corrective/preventative actions for banner builds, rendering, and campaign tracking. Stay abreast of industry best practices and new technology; provide thought leadership and practical applications for AbbVie. Prepare well-organized, clear communications and conduct quarterly business reviews and audits with leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related field. 10+ years of experience in paid media marketing, creating, building, and executing banners. Experience building and leading a high-performing team of banner specialists (3+ years). Digital marketing or interactive agency experience is a plus. Strategic thinker with strong execution and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong client service and project management skills; effective communication with business and technical stakeholders. Expert knowledge of banner ads with HTML/CSS experience. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience in Pharma is preferred but not required.
