Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years, first timers not accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Strong clinical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specialized in the Emergency Room. The unit serves a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Candidates must have at least two years of emergency room experience. The facility operates a small emergency room with a 14-bed capacity. An ambulance is available on site 24 hours a day for patient transport. Wound care will be managed virtually, and there is no IV team available. Meal options are limited to vending machines as there is no cafeteria. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Experience with Epic charting system is required. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and radiology. The successful candidate may need to float to another facility nearby if required. There are expectations to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. Compliance requirements must be met to start on time.
