Warehouse Operations Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Description Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor at our Grand Prairie, TX Presort facility. This position offers an annual salary of $60,000 – $68,000 plus a 6% field bonus. The role is scheduled for the 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 4:00PM to 1:00AM with no set vacation allotment. Key Responsibilities Under the direction of the Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager, organize mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines. Oversee production workers on the assigned shift, providing supervisory duties including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and solving problems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Oversee the quality function throughout the production area, ensuring Total Quality Management (TQM) processes and procedures are followed at all times. Assist the Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports, and application of all USPS postal regulations. Ensure clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts. Suggest improvements to increase efficiency of equipment usage, working conditions, and employee motivation. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in an area involving USPS requirements and/or regulations (presort, mailroom, or associated industries). Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment. Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access, with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet, and email. Ability to lift up to 50lbs (or current state maximum) and walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation. Willingness and ability to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off, and/or a different shift with limited or no advance notice, based on operational needs.
