Purchasing Analyst

Remote position.
Top 2 skills:
1) finance as it relates to software purchasing and
2) advanced skillset in Excel and SmartSheets.
Responsibilities include:
- Leverage multiple data sources to build consolidated software inventories.
- Experience with Excel and SmartSheets; familiar with Excel functions VLOOKUP, INDEX, IFERROR; creating pivot tables.
- Assist and own data reconciliation based on guidance provided.
- Track financial spend; investigate and report on variances as it relates to software spend
- Assist Financial Lead with maintaining financial forecast as it relates to software spend, covering monthly, quarterly and full year views.
- Assist Software Asset Management team with PO creation and receipting.
- Connect with end user community to collect details and validated software utilization; includes communicating and responding to emails or connecting over MS Teams with software owners to discuss details.
- Attend daily/weekly stand-up calls and provide progress updates.
- Run various reports on software spend based on parameters provided.
