Communications SpecialistThe Gathering Spot is looking to hire a Communications Specialist within the marketing department reporting to the Band Manager to be responsible for member communications.Job Responsibilities:Drafting targeted communications to members regarding member events, club updates, and member benefits including but not limited to: EmailPush NotificationsText MessagingManaging email lists - updating, segmenting, cleaningAct as a liaison between membership, operations and marketing team to communicate necessary information to membershipWorks closely with Member Events team to monitor event attendance and adjust communications accordinglyIdeates and creates local promotions to attract new members and increase engagement of existing membersJob Requirements:Strong written and oral communication skillsAttention to detail in order to produce timely, error-free workProficient in email marketing platforms such as MailchimpDesign skills including Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva recommendedHands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPressAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlinesThrives in continuous improvement, fast-paced environmentUndergraduate degree preferred but not requiredFlexibility including availability for weekend and evening workJob Benefits:Joining a fast-faced, growing companyCompetitive benefits package including company-paid health careCompany provided lunch when working on siteFlexible work from home company culture allows for 2 days work from home per weekThe Gathering Spot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
