Maintenance EngineerThe Maintenance Engineer supports predictive and preventive maintenance systems with a focus on cost reduction, efficiency and safety improvements, and process flow. Ideal candidates will have experience in developing and reviewing procedures and strong Excel skills. Background as a Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment would translate well into this role.Benefits:Paid vacation plus 12 paid holidaysUp to 7% 401K matchMedical, dental, and vision benefits starting day oneAdditional disability, life insurance, and supplemental plansRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering FieldAt least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong Excel skillsExperience working with CMMS (Microsoft Dynamics or similar)What You Will Do:Develops and implements project management systems related to preventive and reactive maintenanceWorks with maintenance team to diagnose equipment faults/failures and develop long-term solutionsResponds to breakdowns and works to identify system failures and solutions; assists in the repair of equipmentCreates maintenance procedures to ensure effective diagnosis of equipment failure, necessary preventive measures, and repair processes upon breakdownMakes recommendations for necessary machine improvements and proactively seeks approval from Maintenance Manager on special components, fixtures, and fittingsManages the budget and allocates funds to maintenance projects, forecasts future spendingProvides leadership for project execution to technicians and other maintenance team membersManages inventory of supplies and equipmentEnsures compliance with health and safety regulationsDevelops and maintains metrics around equipment functionality and financial impactOther duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbsStand and walk for extended periodsWork in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environmentWork around varying temperaturesSpecific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focusAdditional Information:Fitesa offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
