Job Summary:

Logistics Policy and Doctrine Analyst: This position supports the government customer in developing, coordinating, implementing, and maintaining enterprise logistics policies, doctrine, and guidance. Provides subject matter expertise on logistics operations, asset management, sustainment planning, business processes, and organizational policy integration. Analyzes policies, directives, procedures, and operational practices to identify gaps, improve standardization, and enhance organizational effectiveness. Conducts research and assessments of logistics, operational, engineering, and business issues, providing recommendations that support strategic decision-making and major initiatives. Coordinates, staffs, adjudicates, and maintains logistics policies and doctrine to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, mission requirements, and statutory and regulatory guidance.

The role involves leading development and coordination of enterprise governance frameworks that improve resource visibility, standardize business processes, increase efficiency, and reduce lifecycle logistics costs. Documents business systems, logistics workflows, and operational processes to support policy implementation and alignment with Force Design 2028 objectives. Collaborates with stakeholders across all organizational levels to develop, integrate, and maintain cohesive enterprise logistics policy. Serves as a principal advisor on logistics policy governance, leading policy review, coordination, promulgation, and assessment to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness. Develops implementation strategies, tracks milestones and deliverables, resolves cross-functional policy conflicts, and monitors execution to support continuous improvement of logistics doctrine, governance, and mission support processes.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

Candidates will possess four (4) years’ experience in business, business analytics, marketing, or a related field, and working knowledge in at least four (4) of the following areas: 

• Internal Controls (DOD RMF/GAO Green Book/ISO 9000)
• Cybersecurity
• Organizational Design
• Operational Logistics
• Logistics Management
• Program Management
• Information Technology Management
• Systems Engineering
• Business Analysis

Preferred Experience:

It is also highly desired that the Mid-Grade Analyst hold a bachelor’s degree and/or Industry-recognized certification in one of the following disciplines:

• Project Management
• Supply Chain Management
• Logistics
• Computer Science
• Operations Research
• Business
• Accounting
• Engineering
• Information System Management

Essential Duties: 

• Develop, coordinate, implement, and maintain enterprise logistics policies, doctrine, and guidance.
• Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support on logistics operations, sustainment planning, asset management, and business process integration.
• Analyze policies, directives, and operational practices to identify gaps, improve standardization, and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate, staff, adjudicate, and maintain logistics policies and doctrine to ensure compliance with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead development of enterprise governance frameworks that improve visibility, efficiency, accountability, and lifecycle logistics performance.
• Document and assess business systems, logistics workflows, and operational processes to support policy implementation and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels to develop, integrate, and communicate enterprise logistics policy.
• Implement strategies, track milestones and deliverables, resolve cross-functional policy issue.
• Improvement of logistics doctrine, governance processes, and mission support capabilities.
• Knowledge of life cycle logistics, supply chain management, logistics engineering, or similar specialty area
• Archive Program functional documents and information.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

• Independently lead projects and tasks.
• Excellent organization skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong skills across MS365 suite of tools.
• Strong ability to diagnose, identify and fix problems through discussions with technical and functional teams.
• Experience with receipt, accountability, and inventory management of various types of property, equipment, and spare parts

Salary: The projected salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 a year and is based on experience and contractual requirements. However, this is not a guarantee of salary.
