Maintenance Director – Skilled Nursing The Greens at Gastonia | Gastonia, NC Full-Time The Greens at Gastonia is actively seeking a Maintenance Director with proven experience in a skilled nursing, healthcare, or regulated facility environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the building is survey-ready at all times, with strong oversight of life safety systems, preventative maintenance, and compliance standards. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Leading all maintenance operations for the facility Maintaining survey readiness and compliance with Life Safety Code Managing preventative maintenance programs and documentation Overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency systems Coordinating repairs and projects with vendors and contractors Partnering with leadership to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff Responding to urgent maintenance needs and on-call situations Minimum Requirements: Maintenance Director or Supervisor experience REQUIRED Healthcare, skilled nursing, or regulated facility experience REQUIRED Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, OSHA, and compliance standards Hands‑on experience with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Why This Role Matters: This position plays a direct role in resident safety, regulatory success, and overall facility operations.
