You will be responsible to lead projects, enhance performance, and increase customer satisfaction.As a Technical Program Manager II, you will be responsible for:Leading cross-functional teams Engineering, Product Management, Network Operations, Sales, Services, and Support to support the product roadmapManaging and mitigating risks and developing contingency plansMaintaining and communicating backlog of work with key stakeholders, guiding them on priorities based on business needsCommunicating program status and expectation changes to senior leaders with appropriate frequency, using standardized methodsMaintaining and iterating on a roadmap of committed work through the current calendarDo what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have 5 years of relevant experience and a High School / Bachelor's degree or its equivalentDemonstrate experience working within a technical team and a good understanding of the software development life cycleBe experience with JIRA and ConfluenceBe experience with Internet technologies or protocols such as DNS, TCP/IPBe able to analyze workload and communicate technical issues to senior stakeholders of varying technical ability.Have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills needed to work across global constituenciesAbout UsAt Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.
