Job Title: Bilingual Medicare Sales Agent (Tempe, AZ) Job Summary UnitedHealthcare is hiring Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medicare Sales Agents for an inbound call center role. The position involves consulting customers on Medicare products, generating qualified leads, and completing enrollment applications. Candidates will receive comprehensive training and support to obtain the required state insurance licenses. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 9:00 pm local time (training includes rotational weekend shifts). Full‑time with flexibility for seasonal peaks. Work Location On‑site training for 6–10 weeks on the standard day shift. Hybrid work model after training; employees may work from home up to 3 business days per week. Primary Responsibilities Answer incoming calls from prospective members and determine their assistance needs. Convert callers into qualified leads and sales. Follow up with members on questions and review existing or new products and services. Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information while maintaining active listening and engagement. Demonstrate knowledge of the product portfolio, explain differences between products, and assist members in selecting the best product. Complete enrollment applications over the phone, ensuring compliance with product requirements and guidelines. Meet performance, attendance, and consumer experience goals set for the position. Maintain required agent licensure, appointments, and annual product certifications. Compensation & Benefits Total compensation includes base pay plus a monthly sales incentive. Average annual earnings: $50,000 – $65,000; top performers can earn $80,000+. Sign‑on bonus up to $3,000 for licensed external/internal applicants; up to $2,000 for unlicensed applicants. 15 days accrued paid time off during the first year and 8 paid holidays. Must live within commuting distance of the Tempe, AZ office. Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English and Spanish. Preferred Qualifications Previous sales experience. Proficiency in Windows PC applications and ability to learn complex computer systems. Flexibility to adapt approach to various caller communication styles and personalities.
