Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Per Diem

Job Summary:

Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. Our Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will work closely with our Physical Therapy department to provide high-quality care to our residents, focusing on enhancing their physical function, mobility, and overall well-being. Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in conducting physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretching, and mobilization techniques

• Implement treatment plans and provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists

• Monitor and record resident progress, reporting any changes or concerns to Physical Therapists and other healthcare team members

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and resident progress

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents

• Participate in in-service training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Missouri

• Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
