Product Change Control Administrator

Requisition Summary Peterbilt is currently seeking a Product Change Control Administrator to review and coordinate activities associated with product change, including review of documentation, gathering and communicating information, resolving conflicts, and expediting tasks to meet projects goals. This role is located at our division headquarters in Denton, Texas. Job Responsibilities Manage product change systems (PCMS) for engineering projects Manage part number/title information Review drawings in WindChill, verify parts loaded to view only graphics (VOG), load parts to COPICS, structure parts Request purchasing information (RPIs) Monitor completion of purchasing contracts, tooling authorization if required Confirm production part approval processes (PPAPs) are scheduled with Supplier Quality (SQ) Review engineering change notices (ECNs), work packages (WP), product change (PC) documentation Coordinates ECNs with Bill of Materials (BoM) group Monitors PPAP progress Job Responsibilities Cont. Firm schedule ECNs for implementation dates Process early implementation requests and exceptions to standard process Manage products change management system (PCMS) for major projects Assist program managers with project tracking, scheduling, and reporting on major projects Coordinate with materials and change control to minimize S&O impacts associated with ECN implementations Review timing of introduction of new parts and phase out of old considering current inventory levels and established urgency of change Act as a central contact for gathering and disseminating product change information Identify and expedite action on items behind schedule in accordance with established procedures Coordinate planning/expediting activities with other sections, departments, and suppliers identifying and solving problems as necessary Provide systems training to new engineers and other end users Coordinate with ITD to resolve system problems and assist with system enhancements May perform other related duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of OPS/COPICS Working knowledge of MS Office – specifically Word and Excel Ability to review and interpret Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Engineering drawings Demonstrated communication and research skills Detail oriented and ability to multitask General Description Of All Benefits As a U.S. PACCAR employee, you have a full range of benefit options including: 401k with up to a 5% company match Fully funded pension plan that provides monthly benefits after retirement Comprehensive paid time off – minimum of 10 paid vacation days (additional days are provided with additional seniority/years of service), 12 paid holidays, and sick time Tuition reimbursement for continued education Medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your family Flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) Paid short- and long-term disability programs Life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance EAP services including wellness plans, estate planning, financial counseling and more This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
