Import Export Specialist

Import Supply Specialist Meyer Distributing is looking for an Import Supply Specialist to join our Arlington, Texas team - we are hiring immediately! Meyer Distributing is a leader in automotive specialty products marketing and warehouse distribution. The Import Supply Specialist position supports the management of international shipments and helps ensure goods move efficiently through global supply chains. Pay Rate: $22 - $25/hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm CST Location: In-Person, Onsite position in Arlington, Texas No Remote Work Preferred Experience for Import Supply Specialist: 2+ years of experience in import/export logistics or international shipping Requirements for Import Supply Specialist: Knowledge of HTS classifications, freight documentation, and trade compliance requirements Experience working with freight carriers, customs brokers, and international vendors Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills Adaptability- the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events. Dependability- the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance. Communication - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills up and down organizational structure.
