Accountant

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. This full-time position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Post journal entries to the general ledger and manage a high volume of accounting transactions
• Assist primarily with Accounts Payable and be cross-trained in Accounts Receivable
• Process bill payments in line with company policies
• Assist with invoicing and submission of purchase orders
• Prepare international shipping paperwork as needed
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial data
• Maintain and improve internal financial controls
• Support general ordering and administrative tasks, including answering phones, guest check-in, and filing
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting and administrative functions

Qualifications

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced accounting environment
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High mathematical aptitude and ability to research independently

Compensation

Starting rate between $25-$35 per hour , depending on experience.

Schedule

Office hours are 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday, with overtime at times as dictated by business need.
