Onsite role Quickbooks required BS degree in accounting required MyStaff is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Sioux Falls to hire an experienced Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, wants to be part of a stable, locally owned company, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a manufacturing environment. We're looking for an accounting professional who has a strong foundation in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (or is willing to be cross-trained), thrives in a fast-paced setting, and has hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop – this is a firm requirement. What You’ll Do Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance Process Accounts Payable and assist with Accounts Receivable Prepare financial records in accordance with GAAP Process vendor payments and reconcile accounting transactions Assist with purchase orders, invoicing, and purchasing activities Prepare international shipping documentation Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Support month-end accounting processes Assist with general office administrative duties as needed What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting required QuickBooks Desktop experience required (no exceptions) Experience with both AP and AR, or willingness to be cross-trained 5+ years of accounting experience preferred Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented office Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Compensation & Benefits $25-$35/hour , depending on experience Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Company-paid Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance Short-Term Disability Paid Time Off and Holidays Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
