About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Must have experience in LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, Peripherals, IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Rota. License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS or ARRT (with state license) Must-Have: Experience in LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, Peripherals, IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Rota. General skills in Scrub, Monitor, and EKG. Experience in Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Right heart catheterization, Rotablader. Experience in obtaining vitals, Outpatient care, 12 Leads EKG, and Rhythm Interpretation. Description: The Cath Lab consists of four labs. Procedures performed include coronary angios/PCIs, CTOs, Peripherals, EPS with possible ablations, Pacemakers, BIVs, TAVRs, Mitraclips, Watchman/Amulet, and Mitral valves. The daily caseload is 25-30 cases. Scrubs are provided. On-call shifts range from 2-3 per week, with 1-2 call weekends in a 6-week rotation. The Flu vaccine is required during flu season. Medical or religious exemptions for the flu vaccine are subject to compliance with guidelines. The COVID-19 vaccine is required, with exemptions permitted under specific conditions. Travelers must have an active state license on submission. The role may involve floating among units as needed. All travelers must complete the required training modules as part of their orientation. Modules will be completed during orientation and are considered in the duration of the assigned work period.
