Weekend requirement of 2-3 shifts per 6-week period. Float requirements apply. Highlights: 40-bed Medical Surgical unit specializing in Bariatrics and Orthopedics with 24-hour inpatient care Patient ratios of 1:5-7 with daily census of approximately 39 patients Epic charting system with PYXIS, SBAR, and Voalte technology Contract lengths of 20 weeks available through February 27, 2027 Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, lift teams, and rapid response teams 36-hour orientation with availability required during first week for hospital orientation Requirements: Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required First-time travelers accepted Current BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, IV Start, and Telemetry certifications required ACLS certification preferred Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license (pending acceptable for submission) Must maintain hand hygiene compliance of 75% or higher Experience with blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation, isolation precautions, and non-invasive airway management Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dedicated team committed to providing exemplary customer service and patient care in a supportive environment that values collegial relationships with physicians and interdisciplinary staff.
