Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic educational setting and provide vital assessment services for a K-2 school community. This contract opportunity begins mid-December and extends through the first week of April, covering a key maternity leave. Working in person for 35 hours each week, your expertise will support students’ needs through diligent evaluations—no counseling services required.

You’ll work primarily with young learners in kindergarten through second grade, focusing on thorough and timely psychoeducational assessments. Additionally, you’ll occasionally perform evaluations for students at nearby parochial schools, contributing to a broader impact within the community.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license required
• Previous experience conducting evaluations within a K-2 or elementary school setting preferred
• Familiarity with a range of standardized assessment tools and protocols
• Strong organization and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, evaluators, and administrative staff
• Detailed understanding of special education laws and eligibility criteria
• Comfortable managing a caseload focused strictly on assessments

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
• Complete all required special education documentation, including eligibility and evaluation reports
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss findings and recommendations
• Ensure evaluations meet compliance standards and deadlines
• Communicate professionally with staff and parents regarding evaluation processes and outcomes
