Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled school psychologist to provide essential evaluations at a K-2 school, covering a maternity leave from mid-December through the first week of April. This contract position offers a steady schedule with 35 hours per week, working exclusively in person. Enjoy a focused caseload working with early learners, as well as handling occasional evaluations at local parochial schools.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Prior experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting
• Familiarity with assessment tools and practices appropriate for K-2 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage an evaluation-only caseload efficiently
• Competency in documentation, report writing, and compliance with regulatory timelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer educational and psychological assessments to students in grades K-2
• Complete a limited number of evaluations at local parochial schools
• Provide clear, written evaluation reports with recommendations for educational teams
• Participate in eligibility meetings and share insights with staff and families
• Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and administrators to support student academic and emotional growth
