Technical Recruiter

JLB is a specialist recruitment firm working across sport, media and entertainment. Over the last two years, we have placed more than 100 people into leading organisations across the UK, US and Middle East, including Formula 1, World Rugby, the BFA and the Miami Dolphins. We are now growing our Data & Technology division and are looking for a Tech Recruiter to join our team in Austin. The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for a recruiter who wants to build something of their own within one of the most exciting industries around: sport and entertainment. You will have ownership of your own desk, working across both client development and candidate delivery. Whilst having the support of the founder when you need it, we are really looking for someone who is confident with working independently, making decisions, and getting things moving. What You'll Do A big part of the role will be winning new business and turning prospective clients into live opportunities through proactive outreach. You'll build strong relationships with tech and data professionals, getting to know what they are looking for and connecting them with the right opportunities. Alongside this, you will work with existing JLB clients to uncover new hiring needs and open up areas of their business that we have not worked with before. Who We're Looking For 1-3 years of experience in tech recruitment, ideally across engineering, data or other highly technical roles. Experience recruiting into B2B and/or B2C technology businesses Comfortable working with candidate salary ranges of $100k to $200k+. Someone who is coachable, moves quickly, and is comfortable working autonomously. 180 or 360 recruitment experience. A genuine interest in sport, media or entertainment.
