As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them build independence, confidence, and meaningful daily lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support daily routines like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks

• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy

• Assist with community activities, employment, and social engagement

• Follow individualized support plans and health/behavioral strategies

• Ensure safety, dignity, and respect at all times

• Communicate with supervisors and complete basic documentation

Who We’re Looking For

• Kind, dependable, and patient individuals who genuinely care.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

• Required to pass PA background clearances.

• Comfortable working independently while part of a team

• Experience is a plus—but not required (we provide training)

Many great DSPs come from backgrounds in caregiving, education, healthcare, or simply from having a big heart.

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling (day, evening, and weekend shifts)
