We are currently seeking to hire a Manager in the tax department in our Anaheim, California office. The Tax Manager reports directly to the partner or director responsible for the engagement. The Tax Manager must possess strong communication skills, able to provide direction and technical guidance to junior staff, proficiency to resolve tax related matters, support and build key relationships.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for the right individual to develop judgment and breadth of experience needed to become a Senior Manager. We are looking for individuals who are interested in long-range career growth and have the strategic ability to plan for their professional futures. Responsibilities:
- Tax Manager/CPA will review and/or prepare tax returns (Corporation, Partnership, Trust and Individual), delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
- Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
- Providing innovative tax planning and review of complex income tax return
- Manage and coordinate tax audits, tax provisions, and tax compliance process
- Improve the firm’s processes by developing or implementing best practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in public accounting
- Must possess BA degree in accounting
- Valid CPA license
- Corporation, partnership, trust and individual tax review and preparation experience
- Strong technical tax review and preparation skills
- Tax audit representation experience is a plus
- Tax research abilities
- Must have excellent computer skills (QuickBooks & Microsoft office programs)
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize/multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with staff members of diverse accounting background
- Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An exceptional work-ethic
- Analytical skills with detail orientation
- Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
