2nd Shift | $18.70/Hour | Valley City, OH

Mancan Staffing Parma Heights is currently seeking Production Associates for a manufacturing client located in Valley City, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience who are comfortable working in a physically demanding production environment.

POSITION DETAILS
Job Title: Production Associate
Shift: 2nd Shift | MondayFriday | 2:00 PM10:00 PM
Pay: $18.70/hour
Location: Valley City, OH
Transportation: This location is NOT on a bus line.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate various production machines safely and efficiently
Assist with maintaining production levels and producing quality parts
Remove and pack finished products from the production line
Rework and repack parts as needed
Visually inspect parts to ensure quality
Use measuring tools and gauges as required
Maintain accurate counts of parts processed
Assist with machine changeovers, basic setups, and troubleshooting
Work effectively as part of a team and assist in other production areas as needed
Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a physically demanding manufacturing position. Candidates must be able to:
Repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
Stand and walk for the entire 8-hour shift, including frequent bending, stooping, and balancing
Perform repetitive manual banding tasks
Push, pull, and operate a banding lever with increasing resistance
Reach and have sufficient arm span to wrap bands around bundles of varying sizes
Perform repetitive manual tasks while maintaining attention to safety and quality

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety rules, prints, and control plans
Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges
Strong attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to safely operate machinery and production equipment

PPE & DRESS CODE
Required PPE:
Steel-toe boots REQUIRED. Candidates must provide their own.
Safety glasses REQUIRED and provided by the company.
Ear plugs REQUIRED and provided by the company.
Dress Code:
T-shirts and hoodies are acceptable
No rips, tears, or inappropriate/explicit content
Jeans or work pants are required
No holes, rips, or tears in pants
No spandex, leggings, or similar clothing

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be able to successfully complete the client's required National Criminal Background Check and 10-panel drug screen.
This is a drug-free workplace.
