What We're Looking For

Client is seeking a Sr. Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. This position will report to the Payroll Supervisor, ensuring that payroll is run accurately and proficiently each period. While utilizing best practices and adherence to statutory compliance, the Sr Payroll Specialist will support all aspects of payroll processing and payroll reporting tasks in UltiPro.

What You'll Do

• Input payroll data with adherence to processing deadlines; while ensuring accuracy of Payroll output
• Process bi-weekly multi-state payrolls for more than 6000 employees, as well as daily off cycle payments
• Review new hire details for correct tax profile set-up
• Coordinate with HR team on incoming employee data relating to: new hires, terminations, and earning/deduction adjustments in order to accurately process payroll for the period
• Work with Benefits to assure employee Leave status and deductions are being withheld as scheduled.
• Review/audit timesheets in UKG Dimensions for Payroll export
• Assist employees with inquiries on self-service updates for W4 and direct deposit info in UltiPro
• Provide guidance to managers with timesheet and UKG Dimensions questions
• Create and maintain UltiPro reports as needed

Skills You'll Need

• Minimum 5 years of high-volume payroll processing experience
• Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experiences preferred
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong knowledge of Ultipro highly preferred
• CPP Certification is a plus
• Experience with UKG Dimensions a plus
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, remote environment

Working Conditions

Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY. You'll be working in your home office setting. We hold virtual training sessions and weekly team meeting. Occasional offsite team meetings in your region or our HQ locations. Requires frequent, repetitive use of a computer, phone, and office equipment. Requires patient, professional communication with prospective clients, and the ability to build confidence with prospects.
