Join the team! Smithtown Transmissions is a full-service transmission repair & car repair service center in Smithtown, NY serving the area throughout the years for car repair services. We have the best mechanics who are experienced in affordable transmission repair, car repair, CVT Transmission Repair, Brake Repair, Oil Changes, Engine Repair, Engine Replacement, suspension replacement & all other automotive related services! ASE Certified technicians, and car repair service advisers that are professionals and use the best car repair diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and fix clients' problems quickly and efficiently. This ensures our clients cars are repaired correctly the first time, saving unnecessary car & transmission repair costs down the road. We value our reputation as being the most trusted source in Smithtown for transmissions and other automotive care and we offer only the highest quality of service for each and every client seeking car repair services.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic and Transmission Installer with at least 2 - 3 years of transmission service, repair & installation experience. General automotive repair knowledge is a plus. Candidates should have their own tools and be able to work with others in a clean, professional work environment. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:Removal & installation of automatic transmissions.
Being able to road test & diagnose transmission related issues.
Proficient use of scan tools and other shop equipment.
Ability to work both independently and with others.
General mechanical aptitude & knowledge of automotive repairs
Task oriented and team player mentality.
Pay is Determined Upon Experience
* Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm (Weekends and Holidays Off)
