Give back to the Community.POSITION SUMMARY:To ensure that the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents are met in a timely and dignified manner.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Report at start of shift with worksheet to receive shift report.Assume leadership by coordinating the care of residents with appropriate personnel.Count narcotics with off-going nurse.Administer scheduled medications in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations. Perform scheduled treatments, wound assessments and documentation as per facility policy.Document pertinent information on residents including but not limited to: 7 day assessments for MDS documentation, alert charting, monthly summaries, incidents/accidents and vital signs.Provide feedback to the supervisor regarding nurse aide's performance evaluations.Participate in admission assessments, transfers, deaths, physician orders and prepare for physician rounds.Regular attendance is an essential function.Communicate resident or staff issues to appropriate personnel.Attend meetings and in-services as required.Responsible for the neighborhood medication sheet re-caps.What We're Looking For:Required:Current RN or LPN license in the Commonwealth of PennsylvaniaCurrent CPR certification (or ability to obtain)Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and teamworkCommitment to providing exceptional resident-centered carePreferred:Long-term care or skilled nursing experienceExperience with electronic health recordsPay: Starting at $34.00/hour (LPN) | Starting at $44.00/hour (RN)Hiring for: Part-Time 6 Shifts Per Pay Night (11p–7a) Weekend and holiday rotation required.
