Our client, an international manufacturing company in WNY, is looking to add a Welding Engineer to their growing team. Responsibilities:

Our client, an international manufacturing company in WNY, is looking to add a Welding Engineer to their growing team. Responsibilities:
- Create processes/procedures for highprecision components utilizing various welding techniques such as Gas TungstenArc Welding (GTAW), Electron Beam Welding (EBW), Laser Beam Welding (LBW),Vacuum Furnace Brazing and Brazing
- Analyze processes for efficiency, performquality control functions, and troubleshoot defects
- Review customer specifications to developand apply complex welding techniques while maintaining industry standards
- Develop weld qualification reports,procedure specs, and work instructions
- Effectively communicate and train onproper techniques and procedures as needed
- Work well in a team environment as wellas independently
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
- Position is full-time, directhire
- 100% in office/on site
- $100,000- $140,000 depending on experience
- Excellent benefits package
- 3+years' experience welding engineering for EBW, GTAW, LBW, and/or FurnaceProcesses
- 3+years Research & Development in welding processes/welding metallurgy
- Bachelorsdegree in Materials Science, Welding, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering;Masters preferred
- Technicalunderstanding of stainless steel welding metallurgy
- Greatinterpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strongorganizational and time management skills
- Meticulousattention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Relocationnot available
