Opportunity:


RN - Cath Lab


Job Details:


• Work Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• On-call every 4th weekend Friday through Sunday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 AM
• On-call for holidays as needed for coverage
• 30-minute call response time required
• Acute care setting
• Cath Lab includes 2 suites/labs with an average of 6 cases per day
• Common cases include coronary procedures, IR procedures, and vascular procedures
• RN responsibilities include sedating, monitoring, and circulating cases - scrubbing is not required
• Must have sedation experience and reversal knowledge
• Must have experience with cardiac drips and medications
• EMR system: Cerner; Equipment: Merge
• Occasional floating for 1:1 sitter help may be required
• Hospital-provided scrubs in light blue
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility


Facility:


This acute care medical facility operates a Cath Lab department with two fully equipped suites supporting coronary, IR, and vascular procedures. The department utilizes Cerner for charting and Merge for imaging equipment, and is supported by a dedicated team of charge nurses and Cath Lab technicians who handle scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The facility maintains a structured orientation program including computer-based training and an orientation binder to ensure contractors are set up for success from day one.
