Description Distribution Center Lead Direct Hire Location: Groveport, Ohio Pay: $26–$28 per hour Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Distribution Center Lead to support a rapidly growing distribution operation in Groveport, Ohio. Schedule: Second Shift: 2:30pm — 11:00 PM (plus mandatory overtime as needed) Mandatory overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs; candidates must be flexible. Position Summary: The Distribution Center Lead will oversee daily warehouse operations, providing leadership, guidance, and support to a team of associates while ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. This individual will act as a key liaison between management and employees, fostering a positive and accountable work environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations to achieve productivity, quality, and customer service goals. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to associates throughout the shift. Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and production metrics. Promote, enforce, and maintain safety policies and procedures. Train and onboard new employees. Communicate shift priorities, expectations, and operational updates. Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency. Assist with inventory control and accuracy initiatives. Collaborate with management to address attendance, performance, and employee relations concerns. Maintain a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Qualifications: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment. Prior experience as a Lead, Team Lead, Shift Lead, or Supervisor is strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to motivate and hold team members accountable. Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory systems is a plus. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and being active on the warehouse floor. Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting and moving materials.
