Stroke Neurologist – Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center / Atlantic Health Atlantic Health is expanding its neurology team and seeks a physician for the vascular neurology division at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center, a comprehensive stroke center accredited by the Joint Commission. Responsibilities Be part of the stroke service line and Atlantic Medical Group, reporting to the system medical director for neurology acute care, the associate system medical director of stroke, and the chair of the home institution. Serve on the acute stroke team (code strokes in person and/or via telemedicine) and on the vascular neurology consult service team for all non-emergent vascular consults. Future opportunities to participate in a primary stroke service as it expands. Provide outpatient clinic duties as needed. Collaborate closely with emergency medicine physicians, neurosurgeons, interventionalists, neurointensivists, and stroke coordinators and managers. Guide and supervise stroke team members including advanced practice providers (APNs and PAs). Review quality data and apply best‑practice medicine for all stroke patients. Qualifications MD or DO degree. Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey. ACGME‑accredited neurology residency. ACGME vascular neurology board certification. Salary Base salary $350,000–$450,000 per year, exclusive of any quality and/or productivity incentives. Benefits Competitive salary.
