divh2Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant (Cma)/Front Desk Coordinator Floater/h2pHudson Regional Health is hiring a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Front Desk Coordinator Floater to work between various local offices, to be cross trained on both positions. CMA is responsible for assisting Physicians, Nurses and other medical staff with providing patient care by following policies, procedures, professional guidelines and provides clinical and clerical support such as assistance with medical procedures, cleaning of equipment, filing, retrieval of information and performance of screening examinations. Medical Office Front Desk Coordinator manages the front office, triage phone calls, scheduling, billing, filing and assisting with data entry and registration. A successful candidate will have good organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate./ppstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities CMA:/strong/pulliTake patient medical history/liliExplain treatments or procedures to patients/liliCleans and sterilizes designated equipment after use./liliPrepare patients and assists Physicians with procedures/liliAssists patient with obtaining food, toileting, post-op movement and maintaining comfort./liliInstruct patients about medication and special diets/liliPrepare and administer medications as directed by a Physician or Licensed Provider/liliEnsures exam rooms and treatment areas are cleaned after each patient leaves and prepared for the next patient. Assists with light housekeeping duties which include spills./liliStocks exam room/treatment rooms with medical supplies, linen, and designated chart forms. Ensures chart is maintained with relevant lab work and test results/liliAssists in escorting patients and specimens throughout the facility./liliObtains vital signs, weights, and EKGs when needed, and all other tests within the scope of the practice.
