School Faculty - Elementary - Holy Family Catholic School Elementary School Teachers Published: 06/02/2026 Holy Family Catholic School in North Miami, Florida has three openings for Elementary Teachers for the 2026-27 school year. The applicants must be dynamic and innovative educators with the ability to develop lessons that cultivate critical thinking skills, design instruction to motivate and engage all learners, and develop cross‑curricular units. The candidates perform all duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience. Qualifications: BS/BA Degree in Elementary Education. FDOE Teaching Certificate in Primary Education (PK‑3) or Elementary Education (K‑6), professional or temporary; may be in the process of applying (considered with statement of eligibility). Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire. Strong presentation skills and use of instructional technologies. Proficiency in using an iPad, PC, Google Classroom, Word, PowerPoint and Excel; other educational apps a plus. Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar are required. Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment a plus. Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church. Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
