Sales RepresentativeResponsibilities Include But Are Not Limited to The FollowingCold calling primarily SMBs (small and mid-sized businesses), including automotive dealerships and other verticals, to present Montway solutions.Prospecting and winning new business by following the Montway sales process.Managing and farming the account throughout the lifecycle.Providing excellent customer service throughout the order cycle by tracking and communicating with the customer.Order Lifecycle Management (OLM): Managing orders through delivery.Managing Load Builds.Dispatching Urgent Orders.Proactively communicating with customers.Providing customers with live updates on the location and status of their shipments as needed.Supporting Montway billing efforts for our clients from invoice to payout.Controlling your compensation by setting carrier pay and invoice rates for the customers that exceed the initially posted price, as well as any negotiated price adjustments.Minimum RequirementsBusiness to Business (B2B) selling experience; preferably via phone.The ability to connect with and influence others.The ability to articulate the value proposition of Montway solutions.Strong negotiation and closing skills.To be driven, motivated, and have a passion for selling!A proven history of success in a sales or sales-like position.Excellent teamwork skills.Preferred RequirementsMinimum High School Diploma.CRM experience — Salesforce preferred.Cold calling and prospecting experience.TimekeepingThis is an hourly, non-exempt position. You are required to clock in and out in the company timekeeping system for all time worked, including the start and end of each shift and unpaid meal breaks. Overtime is paid for hours over 40 in a workweek and requires prior approval from your manager.Work ScheduleThis role is based in our Livonia, MI office. The standard schedule is five days in office. A three-day in-office schedule — Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday — is available and is earned through monthly performance. New hires are in office five days per week for their first month; from month two, the three-day schedule is granted the month after you meet your expectations and suspended the month after you miss them.
