Job Summary:
The inpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) position is based in Chandler, Arizona, and involves providing specialized rehabilitative care to adult patients with neurological injuries, stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations, orthopedic conditions, wounds, or respiratory issues. This role is supervised by the therapy team and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in similar clinical settings.

Job Details:

• Location: Chandler, AZ

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Hours: 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist license; 2-3 years of experience in adult inpatient rehabilitative care; experience with EMR systems UDS and Cerner; candidates must be able to float to a nearby Gilbert location if needed due to census.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with adult patient populations in SNF, IRF, or acute care settings is desirable.
• Additional Information: The role involves overseeing approximately 9 patients during each shift, with therapy staff reporting on patient progress in team conferences. Equipment utilized includes In-motion, Synaptic, EKSO, and VR devices. The standard reporting time is typically 7:00 AM for OT staff. Candidates should report to the therapy team upon arrival and will be assigned a maroon scrub uniform. Parking should be in any 3rd row spot at the front or any spot on the side of the building.
