About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to oversee the hands-on operations of its assisted living community. The successful candidate will be responsible for the community's financial performance, employee leadership, and ensuring the satisfaction of residents and their families. This role demands a leader who is well-versed in the company's policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as all relevant state and federal regulations. A key focus for the Executive Director is the sales and marketing process, with the aim of maximizing revenue and maintaining a strong market position. The role also involves a range of compliance and safety duties, including adherence to OSHA regulations, and the management of the community's budget and financial reports. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a background in business administration, human resources, gerontology, or a related area. A minimum of 2-5 years' of prior General Manager or Administrator experience is preferred, or 5-10 years in senior living, hospitality, or skilled nursing, with at least 5 years at the management level. The role requires a valid driver's license and, if mandated by the state, a valid license to operate an assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, be adept at generating leads and closing sales, and have the ability to effectively represent the community in various public settings. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to multitask and communicate effectively, are essential.
