Join us, and you will do substantive work early, build real client relationships, and grow toward a genuine path to partnership.Position OverviewWe are seeking a proactive Real Estate Associate to support origination, underwriting and execution of real estate and finance transactions across commercial and residential asset classes. The role will work closely with originators, lenders, private equity partners, developers, sellers and buyers to analyze opportunities, structure debt and equity solutions (including construction financing and CMBS), prepare deal materials, and manage the closing and post-close monitoring process. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling and underwriting skills, an understanding of capital markets, and experience working on acquisitions, sales and construction finance transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform financial underwriting and sensitivity analysis for acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing and construction financing across commercial and residential properties.Build and maintain detailed cash flow and debt service models (Excel/Argus) to evaluate loan structures, leverage scenarios, and returns to equity.Prepare investment memos, lender packages, term sheets, marketing materials and presentations for internal stakeholders, clients, and capital providers.Coordinate due diligence efforts with attorneys, title companies, surveyors, appraisers, environmental consultants and third-party vendors to support transaction execution.Support negotiation of loan terms and coordinate communication with lenders, servicers, private equity partners, developers, sellers and buyers to ensure timely closings.Analyze capital stack options and assist in structuring debt and equity solutions, including CMBS, construction loans, bridge financing and joint-venture equity arrangements.Monitor portfolio loan performance, covenant compliance and cash flows post-closing; identify and escalate issues to senior team members.Conduct market research and financial benchmarking to identify new opportunities and inform underwriting assumptions.Assist senior team members with business development activities, client outreach and pitch preparation.Ensure accurate transaction documentation and maintain deal tracking systems and pipelines.QualificationsJuris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to the PA Bar in good standing. 2+ years of experience in real estate finance, investment banking, commercial lending, private equity, or acquisitions with exposure to commercial or residential asset classes.Practical knowledge of loan products and structures including construction financing, bridge loans, CMBS and permanent debt.Experience interacting with developers, sellers, buyers, lenders and private equity sponsors; strong client-facing and negotiation skills.Proven ability to review and interpret loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and basic legal/closing documentation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines.BenefitsCompetitive compensation (DOE)Significant bonus programGenerous Paid Time OffEmployee wellness programsMedical/Dental/Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401k with employer match...and more
