This role supports precast manufacturing and concrete construction by performing a variety of hands-on tasks such as product detailing, sanding, patching, and finishing molds. You will work with hand and power tools, inspect products for defects, and help ensure that finished pieces meet quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone reliable with strong attention to detail who enjoys physical, outdoor work and wants to grow in the construction and manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Detail finished products to meet quality and appearance standards.
• Sand surfaces to create smooth, even finishes on precast concrete products.
• Patch and repair molds, stone edges, and surface imperfections as needed.
• Finish molds and stone edges, ensuring all surfaces are clean and ready for use.
• Inspect products for defects and blemishes, making corrections or reporting issues to the team.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during daily tasks.
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to support cutting, fitting, and finishing work.
• Apply paint stencils and other finishing touches according to specifications.
• Follow simple written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards.
• Arrive on time consistently and demonstrate strong attendance and work ethic.
• Adapt to changing priorities and assist with general labor tasks as needed in precast manufacturing and construction.

Essential Skills

• Go-getter mentality with strong drive, reliability, and consistent attendance.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements for daily tasks.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions including rain, heat, and cold.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to use power tools safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail when inspecting and finishing products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in precast manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with finishing molds, patching, and working with stone edges.
• Experience using a tape measure in a production or construction setting.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and continuously improve skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
