FINANCIAL COUNSELOR II

Responsibilities Texas NeuroRehab Center is a specialized treatment facility located ten minutes from downtown Austin on 67 wooded acres. Texas NeuroRehab Center is currently accepting applicants for a Contracting/Financial Counseling Specialist II. This candidate will effectively and efficiently initiate, develop and maintain Managed Care agreements/contracts through negotiations with third party entities for the region as well as provide training to all entities involved in the agreements. Types 50 words per minute. High school diploma. Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, or Public Relations preferred. Minimum five years' experience in marketing / public relations activities and negotiating/contracting. Prefer previous experience in healthcare setting. Able to sit for four to six hours daily at computer terminal. Ability to use computer terminal keyboard. Ability to hear and speak clearly with customers and employees both face-to-face and over the telephone. Repetitive use of hands and vision to allow for typing, grasping, filing, and manipulating papers. Occasional lifting of 11-25 pounds. Occasional bending and stooping to reach file cabinets and inventory supplies. Emotional stability to perform essential job functions and endure.
