Call Coverage

• Telephone Call Coverage During Nights and Weekends
• After-Hours and Weekend Call Includes Two Hospital Locations
• Most After-Hours Calls Can Be Managed by Telephone
• Onsite Response Required When Clinically Necessary
• Minimal Onsite Callbacks Anticipated

• Approximately 46 Medical-Surgical Beds
• 8 Intensive Care Unit Beds
• Open ICU Setting

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide Inpatient Cardiology Consultations
• Provide Hospital-Based Cardiac Testing Coverage
• Perform and Interpret Cardiac Stress Tests
• Interpret Cardiac Graphics and Diagnostic Studies
• Perform Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
• Perform Direct Current Cardioversion (DCCV)
• Evaluate and Manage Hospitalized Cardiology Patients
• Provide Cardiovascular Consultations for Inpatient Services
• Respond to Cardiology Telephone Consultations During Call
• Provide Emergency Onsite Cardiology Evaluation When Required
• Coordinate Patient Care With Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
• Document Clinical Findings and Procedures in Epic
