Leveraging a vast network of physicians and healthcare experts, we are quickly becoming recognized as a leader in the broader healthcare landscape as we pioneer creative solutions to address urgent population health needs.Main FunctionsObserves and assists assigned mental health patients and helps with daily living activities, therapeutic activities, and socialization.Responsible for the overall maintenance of a therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and to ensure the safety of patients and staff.Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings.Performs and records information about patients including vital signs, weight, glucose monitoring, and demeanor.May communicate with the patient's family as needed.Education & ExperienceEducation: High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.Experience: At least 1-3 years' of relevant experience.Competencies & SkillsGood oral and written communication skills; ability to follow up on information with staff members.Ability to organize workday and environment to get the job done.Excellent public contact skills - courteous, tactful, friendly, and the ability to work well with others.Ability to handle multiple requests and work in a stressful environment.
