Your Key Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for review by physicians.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure precise diagnoses.
- Accurately position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging results.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols for the well-being of patients and staff.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including imaging logs and equipment checks.
- Deliver compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment.
Education and Certification Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program.
Essential Certifications
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
