As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid Virginia DCJS license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
