About the Role

As an Elementary Team Teacher, you will partner with classroom teachers to support students through co-teaching, small group instruction, and targeted interventions . You will play a key role in helping students build strong academic foundations while nurturing their growth spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

Department: Academics

Reports to: Director of Educational Support Services

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to plan lessons and implement interventions through the RtI process
  
• Provide whole group, small group, and individualized instruction based on student needs
  
• Support differentiated instruction within the classroom
  
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate data for RtI goals
  
• Work closely with teachers and intervention specialists to support diverse learners
  
• Communicate effectively with faculty and parents regarding student progress
  
• Participate in professional development and team collaboration

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A clear testimony of saving faith in Jesus Christ and a strong commitment to Christian education and agreement with our school's Statement of Faith and community lifestyle statements.
  
• Commitment to upholding the Christian mission and values of Lake Center Christian School.
  
• Clear FBI/BCI background check
  
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, required
  
• Valid and active 5 year professional Ohio teaching license/certification,  required  
  
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies and student learning needs
  
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs
