Manage pain control, nausea, and hemodynamic stability; administer medications and document responses per physician orders. Reconcile and communicate patient status with the anesthesia team, surgeons, and other PACU staff; assist with transitions to appropriate next care areas or discharge from PACU. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, including vitals, patient progress, interventions, and discharge criteria. Ensure patient safety and infection control practices; support patient and family education regarding recovery expectations and discharge instructions. Adjust care plans based on evolving patient condition and unit protocols; elevate concerns promptly. Requirements Current RN license in Oregon (in good standing). Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS per American Heart Association (or ARC equivalents) required. Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program; licensure to practice as a registered nurse. Experience: PACU nursing experience preferred; ability to work in a fast‑paced post‑anesthesia care setting.
