Overview We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions at Gladwin Community Schools, 401 North Bowery Avenue, Gladwin, MI 48624. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs cashiering duties and other general food service tasks; enters sales into the cash register and processes payments. Prepares food by washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables; weighs and measures ingredients. Transports food and supplies between stations, keeping safety standards in mind. Stores foods according to wrapping, dating, and food safety procedures. Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of work areas and equipment; ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements. Uses approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and handles customer inquiries or complaints. Relays information to the supervisor and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications One year of prior food prep experience is required.
