Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Position Overview Central Carolina Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health and provides acute medical/surgical care. As a Registered Nurse on the Medical/Surgical team, you will deliver compassionate, evidence‑based care to patients of all ages. Position Details Compensation : $20,000 Commitment Bonus. Schedule : 3 x 12‑hour shifts per week on the Day Shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) plus rotating weekends. Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record. Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Qualifications Current North Carolina or compact state RN license. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire. Associate’s degree in nursing required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
