Customer Service / Lot Attendant

Customer Service Representative Are you a people person? U‑Haul seeks friendly, motivated individuals to serve as the face of our customer service team, providing exceptional service via inspection, maintenance, and dispatch of equipment. Responsibilities Assist customers inside and outside a U‑Haul center with products and services. Use smartphone‑based U‑Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory. Move and hook up U‑Haul trucks and trailers. Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, checking fluid levels and ensuring readiness. Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services. Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment. Install hitches and trailer wiring. Fill propane tanks (certification offered through U‑Haul upon employment). Operate forklift (certification offered through U‑Haul upon employment). Other duties as assigned. Participate in ongoing training through U‑Haul University. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Work Environment & Physical Demands The work involves moderate risks and requires protective gear. Physical exertion includes standing for long periods, moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs.
