Administrator

Our multi-doctor ophthalmology practice in Lakewood, NJ is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to lead day-to-day operations as our current administrator transitions out of the role due to relocation. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-established, growing practice with a strong existing team and smooth handover support. What You’ll Do Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations across the practice Manage staff scheduling, hiring, training, and performance for front-office, technician, and billing teams Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and state/federal healthcare regulations Oversee billing, coding, and revenue cycle management specific to ophthalmology (medical and surgical) Manage vendor relationships, equipment maintenance, and facility operations Partner with physicians on practice growth, budgeting, and strategic planning Monitor patient flow, satisfaction, and quality-of-care metrics Handle EHR/practice management software administration and optimization Timeline Immediate hire needed. We're looking to fill this role as soon as possible, with a short transition/training period alongside the outgoing administrator to ensure continuity. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in medical practice administration; ophthalmology or surgical specialty experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of ophthalmic billing/coding (CPT, ICD-10) and insurance/Medicare requirements Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with EHR systems - Modernizing Medicine, JCAHPO or MGMA certification a plus, not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Invision Eye Care Specialists
